About 4 years ago, while visiting our friends’ CO Springs home, I immediately noticed Velasquez’s exceptional & beautiful work on their new concrete driveway & paver patio. We subsequently bought a home in COS as well & spent 2 yrs on a complete home remodel, inside & out. The very last project was demolition & replacement of a badly damaged, red-colored concrete driveway dating back to 1948. Our new driveway was finished last week by Velasquez & it has beautifully transformed the appearance of our home! First, Ernesto came by the house to discuss the project, our goals, & ideas. He is always prompt & responsive to texts. He sent a competitive bid that evening, along with a link to a company’s concrete colors that we could choose from. We selected a beautiful color that perfectly complements the new house color palate. We ordered 16 brushed concrete samples from the company to arrive at our color choice - I urge doing this as many look quite different in person vs the samples on line, ie, too grey, too pink, etc. in daylight and/or dusk. Work started last Monday, with the pour completed on Wednesday, and “car ready” the following Monday (today). The care, attention to detail, and technical work by Velasquez is nothing short of exceptional. Our neighbors love the color & the quality of work as compliments from them & other friends “pour” in!! We could not be happier. The team protected adjoining fencing, pushed back landscape rock, and meticulously put everything back after completion. They blocked the driveway access with cones & tape & a large vehicle (vehicle for 2 nights). During the work, Ernesto was present with a wonderful team that worked diligently to make us happy with every detail of their work. In addition, we are going to have fall landscape work done every year and, as outdoor project needs arise, we will call on Velasquez - the work is beautiful.
