I hired Executive Cleaning Company about two years ago for a full deep clean of my home, including HVAC cleaning, and I paid over $800 for the service. The house was completely empty at the time, no furniture, no belongings, so there was absolutely no reason the job shouldn’t have been done thoroughly. Unfortunately, the cleaning was extremely poor.
The only reason I am leaving two stars instead of one is because the owner did come back with one of the managers after I called to complain. However, by that point they were clearly tired, frustrated, and the quality of work still did not meet what I paid for or what I was promised.
Before the service, I was explicitly told that the walls would be cleaned top to bottom and that the washer and dryer would be cleaned as well. After the cleaners told us the job was finished, we returned to the house and found that the washer and dryer had not been touched at all. They were still completely caked in dust, we had not lived in the house for years, so the buildup was obvious. When we pointed this out, they wiped them down with an attitude rather than acknowledging the oversight.
On top of that, instead of properly sweeping and removing dirt from the floors, they proceeded to mop over it, essentially pushing the dirt into the ground rather than cleaning it up.
As mentioned, the owner did return and helped clean, but by then I was extremely frazzled and exhausted, it had been a long week, and I regret not speaking up more firmly at the time. Even two years later, this experience still bothers me.
What prompted me to finally leave this review was a TikTok video I recently saw of a woman who doesn’t even own a cleaning business deep cleaning her sister’s house, including washing the walls. It made me realize how unacceptable the service I received truly was, especially considering the price and the fact that my house was completely empty.
To make matters worse, I recently had a professional HVAC company come out about a month ago, and they told me it looked like my system had not been properly cleaned in at least five years. They could not tell whether Executive Cleaning Company actually cleaned anything at all or if they simply changed the filters and blew out some vents. If the HVAC had truly been cleaned as promised, I would not be dealing with this now.
Overall, this was a very expensive service that did not come close to meeting expectations, and I am still extremely disappointed by the lack of thoroughness, professionalism, and follow-through that it still keeps me up sometimes at night.
